Privacy policy — SEO Grid Shopify app

SEO Grid (“the app”) is operated by K2 Digital. It lets Shopify merchants edit SEO fields (meta title, meta description, URL handle) for products, pages, blog posts, and renderable custom metaobjects in a spreadsheet-style grid.

Last updated: August 25, 2026

  • SEO content (titles, descriptions, handles) is stored in Shopify — not copied to K2 servers as catalog data.
  • Shop install data (domain, OAuth tokens, billing cache) is stored in Cloudflare D1 while the app is installed.
  • The app runs on Cloudflare Workers at https://seo-grid.k2.digital/.

When a merchant installs SEO Grid, we store in D1:

  • Shop domain (e.g. example.myshopify.com)
  • OAuth access token and refresh token (encrypted at rest per platform practices)
  • Install timestamps and app uninstall state
  • Cached billing active flag from Shopify App Pricing checks

Merchant UI opens from Shopify Admin → Apps → SEO Grid in a new browser tab.

When you use the grid, the app:

  • Reads product, page, article, and metaobject SEO fields from Shopify via the Admin API
  • Writes only the fields you save on a given row back to Shopify

We do not maintain a separate SEO database of your catalog on K2 infrastructure.

Staff browsers receive a signed session cookie so you stay signed in to SEO Grid without repeated OAuth prompts. Sessions expire after about 24 hours.

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use your catalog SEO for advertising.
  • We do not require customers (shoppers) to create accounts with K2 — SEO Grid is a merchant/staff tool only.

This documentation site at https://seo-grid.k2.digital/docs/ is informational. We use Google Tag Manager (GTM-PFJN6DMS) on public docs pages for aggregated traffic analytics (page views, referrers). GTM may load tags configured in our GTM container (for example Google Analytics). We do not use docs analytics to access your Shopify catalog or admin data.

Install data remains in D1 while the app is installed. Uninstalling the app triggers cleanup of shop tokens per our webhook handling. Completed orders and SEO in Shopify remain under your Shopify account policies.
